Dear Readers,

Welcome to the website of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia, we are delighted that you are exploring our platform for information related to our national and international activities while gaining insight into the responsibilities and functions of our Parliament.

The National Assembly stands as the supreme governing body of our nation. Its primary allegiance is to the people who entrust it with their representation through general elections held every five years. As an institution, the National Assembly serves as an open space where Members diligently carry out their fundamental duties, which encompass legislating, representing constituents, and overseeing the enforcement of laws. During parliamentary sittings, the National Assembly becomes a safe and open platform for robust discussions, where Members of Parliament and representatives of the Royal Government engage in dialogue, explanations, and interpretations of bills, considering their legal, social, economic, and political aspects. Over the course of the past six legislative terms, the National Assembly has passed more than 600 laws, all of which are available on this website, alongside other significant documents that mirror the tireless efforts of our members on both the national and international stage.

The National Assemblys website is designed to provide you with the latest information on our activities, facilitating your pursuit of knowledge, learning, and comprehension. We aim to share valuable insights, experience, and best practices – all of which contribute to strengthening and advancing our Parliament's role in nurturing a democratic culture and fostering a common understanding of key priorities. By doing so, we endeavour to play a part in reducing disparities, fostering unity, and working collaboratively towards inclusive and sustainable development.

Once again, I extend my gratitude to all of our readers for dedicating their valuable time to exploring our website. The National Assembly earnestly hopes that your visit will be an enlightening and beneficial experience. We wholeheartedly welcome constructive feedback as we continuously strive to enhance our website to cater to the preferences and needs of all our readers.
